Yoni Golijov is an Academy Award-nominated filmmaker whose focuses include collective organizing, labor, journalism, verité, and community screenings.

Most recently, Golijov produced Who Moves America (True/False, 2026, dir. Yael Bridge) about UPS, teamsters and inter-generational solidarity, and Cover-Up (Venice, 2025, dir. Laura Poitras & Mark Obenhaus) about the work of Pulitzer Prize-winning investigative journalist Seymour Hersh.

He produced All The Beauty and the Bloodshed (Venice, 2022, dir. Laura Poitras) about legendary artist and activist Nan Goldin. All the Beauty and the Bloodshed won the Golden Lion at the Venice Film Festival, only the second time in the festival's history that a nonfiction film took home the top prize.

Golijov co-directed/produced the award-winning short film When We Fight (2022) with collaborator Yael Bridge, and he co-directed/produced a follow-up film We Build Power with Arlene Inouye and Working Films. He served as an associate producer on Relative (2022, dir. Tracey Smith), produced Laura Poitras's first European gallery show, Circles (nbk Gallery, 2021) and her collaborations with Forensic Architecture: Terror Contagion (Cannes, 2021) and Triple-Chaser (Whitney Biennial, 2019), her immersive video installation and film clinic Signal Flow (Manifesta, 2018) her short film collaboration with Henrik Moltke Project X (Sundance, 2016) and her feature film Risk (Cannes, 2016).

In his first collaboration with Poitras, he served as studio manager for her solo exhibition Astro Noise at the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York, and the accompanying book Astro Noise: A Survival Guide for Living Under Total Surveillance.

Previously Golijov worked as Consulting Producer at Field of Vision where he worked across shorts, series and features including the Academy Award-nominated In the Absence (dir. Yi Seung-Jun, prod. Gary Byung-Seok Kam), and coordinated the Field of Vision Fellows retreat.

He has received fellowships from the Sundance Documentary Film Program, Impact Partners, and NBC Original Voices, and has been nominated for a BAFTA, Emmy, PGA and Gotham Award and has won an Independent Spirit Award and Peabody Award. His work has screened at Venice, Telluride, Cannes, NYFF, TIFF, True/False and the Nordic Labour Film Festival, and has been acquired by Netflix, HBO, Showtime, and NEON.
